Features Bassa Romagna Food
The FOOD CORRIDORS project is funded by the URBACT III European Program with resources from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) in the 2014-2020 programming period. Its goal is to create a network of European cities that are capable of enhancing short supply chains, combining the social and environmental dimensions of agriculture and responding in an innovative way to local urban-rural challenges. To do this, Bassa Romagna has produced a Small Scale Action, a small-scale action with a reduced budget and scope, to test the local resilience of a first intervention in the agro-food sector.
With the help of the developers of the SOFOS company, we have created the digital application BASSA ROMAGNA FOOD: a multi-level software in which farms, small producers, grocery stores, markets and agritourisms can enter their data so that users can directly access all information and get in touch with them. The partnership of FOOD CORRIDORS, in addition to Bassa Romagna, includes the local administrations of Tartu (Estonia), Larissa (Greece), Szécsény (Hungary), Alba Iulia (Romania), Kranj (Slovenia) and Coimbra (Portugal, project leader) .
